Yep. Hongh is a Brand. There should be a stamp/ branding on the back of the pot, saying Alpha or Hongh. If you have Hongh you should consider to change all you pots with alphas. In this case you also have the chance to fix you stupid glued pot idea
You are in the Amp Subforum - this is a pedal - so simply post your request at the pedal forum and folow the rules as indicated by Micha - quite simple, isn't it. Instead of learning of the errors / misstakes you made on your first pedal, you just request for a similar one (I assume it might be the same still not working? )
What kind of troll is that. Allready posted some month ago: Need Help finding the problem on a Tube Screamer 808 Clone I would suggest to delete this thread
You don’t get the point. There is a reason for every part in this kit. If you want a non volume original, go and build it on you own with strip grid board. But don’t ask why it’s not working because this kit is intended to work with the hole circuit and parts.
To repeat Simon: What do you expect? We suggested you to try out different Transistors and Diodes. But you decided to remove parts from a working pedal with a improved circuit without the knowledge of the functionality of the removed parts. I’m expecting that you aren’t going to reach your aim of a good / original sounding pedal with this. You have two choices. Build it like it’s planed. Or buy or build yourself a original or non improved clone of pedal.
But to be honest. Maybe you could take some more easy effects for your start. Something like a overdrive or fuzz. Even the small clone chorus from UKE isn‘t that hard to build.
Quote from 10pizza: “Anybody have a recommendation for a flanging kit? ” I could recommend this flanger kit to you: musikding.de/Electric-Lover-Bausatz A bit tricky to set the trim pots but then it’s a brilliant and good sounding Flanger effect.
